Probably my favorite description of Christianity came from Ted Turner. It is uncommonly pithy and profound. I don't know if Mr. Turner meant it as an insult, or if he meant the direct meaning as something of a compliment. At any rate, I am increasingly convinced that Christianity is at it's best when it is divorced and distanced from political power and social popularity. We might get a chance to see what that is like within a few decades. :WM
